Choose water proof books for babies and infants
Some people do gift picture books to babies and infants. I personally do not favour this. A little rough handle is what it takes to get torn. And once a child discovers what tearing is all about, he will enjoy doing it. So what you gift after a careful selection, will soon find its way to the waste paper basket. Still if you wish to gift books, choose one with large colourful pictures. Its easy to capture a childs attention with large pictures. Go for water proof books. A child would find it hard to tear them. Even if water gets spilled, you won’t have to fret much.
